Predicted Arsenal lineup (3-4-1-2) to face Valencia, Lacazette and Ozil start
Arsenal make the trip to the Mestalla for tonight's Europa League showdown against Valencia. The Gunners are holding a 3-1 advantage after the first leg at the Emirates Stadium but they still face a tricky test amid their recent woes on their travels.
Formation: 3-4-1-2
Predicted Lineup:
Petr Cech has been the regular choice for the competition this term and the same is expected to remain the case for the Valencia trip. The veteran will be aiming for a fourth clean sheet in five European games.
In the defence, manager Unai Emery is certain to revert to a three-man backline and this may witness Laurent Koscielny re-enter the fray to partner Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis Papastathopoulos after he was an unused substitute at the weekend.
At right wing-back, Ainsley Maitland-Niles should return to contention after missing the weekend game against Brighton & Hove Albion through a domestic suspension. On the opposite end, Sead Kolasinac appears the viable choice ahead of Nacho Monreal, who has been more prone to defensive errors during the backend of the season.
In the midfield, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira seem the best choices at the manager's disposal despite the fact that the former was guilty of conceding the penalty against Brighton, which has pretty much ended the club's top-four hopes.
In the attack front, Emery has decided to stick with Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in recent games and the same may remain the case. Ozil should slot into the number 10 position with Aubameyang partnering Lacazette upfront.
