Paris Saint-Germain showing interest in Liverpool striker?

Roberto Firmino news

Firmino on PSG radar

French champions Paris Saint-Germain are said to hold a strong interest in signing Roberto Firmino from Liverpool during this summer's transfer window.

The Brazil international has been hugely successful during his four seasons at Liverpool and he has contributed 66 goals from 191 appearances across all competitions.

He currently has four years remaining on his existing deal with the Reds but BBC Sport reports that Les Parisiens are looking into a potential swoop for his signature this summer.

The same publication suggests that manager Thomas Tuchel remains a fond admire of the former Hoffenheim man but it is clear whether the German will remain at Parc des Princes beyond the current campaign.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has regarded Firmino as the undisputed first-choice for the striker's role whenever he has been fit and it is highly unlikely that the club will consider any offers for his signature.

Their stance may change, should the player make a transfer request, but that also appears improbable with the Brazilian holding no concerns regarding his role with the club.
