Chelsea identify replacement for Maurizio Sarri?

Chelsea want Tuchel to replace Maurizio Sarri?

Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has reportedly emerged as one of the front-runners to replace Maurizio Sarri as the Chelsea head coach.

The Blues are expected to decide on the future of Sarri following the Europa League final and sources indicate that he could be axed from the role.

Amidst this, Frank Lampard has been frequently linked with the job but London Evening Standard reports that the Blues have other replacements in their mind.

One of those is said to be Tuchel and the German could be available during the summer with his managerial position with Les Parisiens under severe scrutiny.

Max Allegri is another option on their radar but the Italian could take a sabbatical for the upcoming campaign which would put him out of contention for the job.

Chelsea are presently under a two-window transfer ban and their prospects of signing anyone this summer are dependent on whether they can freeze the embargo through an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
