Manchester United quoted price to sign Crystal Palace star
Crystal Palace have reportedly told Manchester United that they would have to pay a sum of around £70m to pursue the signature of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The Mancunian giants are aiming to strengthen the right-back position this summer with Antonio Valencia and Matteo Darmian set to leave the club while Ashley Young is edging towards the final stages of his career.
According to The Independent, United were willing to make a £35m for the services of Wan-Bissaka but they have now been made aware that Palace would demand at least twice the figure.
Aside from a right-sided defender, the Red Devils are also hoping to sign a centre-back this summer and they have been linked with the likes of Harry Maguire and Kalidou Koulibaly.
The Red Devils experienced their worst-ever defensive performance in the Premier League era last term as they conceded 54 goals through the course of the campaign. This resulted in a disappointing sixth-place finish.
