United open to Lukaku sale this summer

Manchester United are reportedly open to parting ways with Romelu Lukaku amid the interest from Italian giants Inter Milan.

The Belgian has contributed 42 goals in the past two seasons with United but there have been stages where he has been frustrating in front of goal.

Amidst this, the Nerazzurri are said to have expressed an interest in the marksman and The Sun reports that United could cash in on the Belgian at the right price.

As per the publication, United are prepared to end their association with Lukaku in the coming months but they are said to want the £75m fee paid to pursue him from Everton two years ago.

Inter are the sole side interested in making an offer this summer and it remains to be seen whether they are willing to match the asking price or tempt United with a cash-plus-player deal.

Ivan Perisic has been a long-term target for the Red Devils but the club have yet to make a renewed approach to land him from the San Siro giants. Perisic was linked with league rivals Arsenal in January.
