Manchester United eyeing shock loan move for Real Madrid star?
Manchester United are said to have proposed the option of signing Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale on loan for a couple of seasons.
Bale has been in-and-out of the starting lineup over the past year at Los Blancos and he is currently said to be on periphery of the first-team with the return of manager Zinedine Zidane.
According to The Mirror, United are reluctant to match Los Blancos' £75m price tag for the Wales international and they are instead prepared to propose a loan move for his signature.
The same publication claims that an approach will be made in the forthcoming weeks and the club are likely to propose the option of extending his stay for another 12 months.
United have been touted for a permanent move for Bale in the past but they are reluctant to do the same this summer after witnessing his fitness concerns over the past few years.
