Ben Yedder on United radar

Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to hold a preference to sign Wissam Ben Yedder from Sevilla this summer.

The Frenchman was in splendid form for the Andalusian club during the recently-concluded campaign where he contributed 30 goals and 11 assists across all competitions.

Owing to this form, he has recently been called up to the national team by Didier Deschamps and reports have now emerged that he could pursue a bigger challenge away from Seville.

According to La Colina de Nervión, United are one of the most interested clubs in the France international with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said to favour the marksman to lead the attack.

Ben Yedder currently has a £35.6m release clause on his existing deal with the club and such a figure should be affordable for the Red Devils, who are expected to make multiple signings this summer.

Still, any move may be dependent on Romelu Lukaku's future at the Old Trafford outfit. The Belgian has recently been linked with a potential move to the Serie A to make way for a new centre-forward.
