Bayern Munich want to sign Chelsea attacker this summer
German champions Bayern Munich are back in the race to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea after failing with multiple bids for his services during the winter transfer window.
The Bundesliga holders held a serious interest in signing the England international back in January but the Blues turned down multiple bids as they were not keen on a mid-season sale.
Since then, Hudson-Odoi has suffered a long-term Achilles injury but that has not cease speculation regarding his future, given his contract is due to expire in 12 months' time.
According to Bild, the Bavarian giants are back in for the Blues graduate after failing in their attempts to pursue other targets for this summer's transfer window.
Manchester City's Leroy Sane and RB Leipzig's Timo Werner had been earmarked as potential candidates to join the club, but neither of those players could make the switch this summer.
Sane is supposedly reluctant to make the return to the Bundesliga this summer. On the other hand, Leipzig are playing hardball with Werner and are prepared to risk him for the final year of his contract.
