Everton plan Malcom move

Everton are reportedly preparing an approach to secure the services of Malcom from Barcelona.

The Brazilian only joined the Blaugrana from Bordeaux in a £37m deal last summer but he has struggled to make an impression with just six league starts for the club.

According to RMC Sport, the young winger is free to part ways with the Blaugrana this summer and the Toffees are among the clubs interested in landing his signature.

The Merseyside giants have already landed the signatures of Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina from the Spanish champions in the past 12 months and they are prepared to make a bid of around £31.4m to pursue Malcom.

Premier League rivals Arsenal are also understood to be interested in the winger but their loan approach has been rejected by the Blaugrana, who want to sanction player's departure on a permanent basis this summer.

The Toffees were dependent on Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson for part of the scoring exploits last term and manager Marco Silva is said to be keen to improve the creativity in the final third.
