Diego Costa to make shock Premier League return?
Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has reportedly been fancied to make a return to the Premier League with Everton this summer.
The 30-year-old has spent the past 18 months with Atletico Madrid but he appears set to part ways with the club after managing just 11 goals from 42 appearances.
According to The Sun, Atleti are looking to sanction the sale of Costa after the club-world purchase of Joao Felix combined with the permanent signing of Alvaro Morata from Chelsea.
The same publication claims that a Premier League return could be on the cards for Costa with super-agent Jorge Mendes acknowledging that the marksman has been tempted by one proposal.
Both Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have been associated with the former Chelsea man, but the former are regarded as the favourites at the moment as they would be willing to pay more than £50m for the striker.
Everton boss Marco Silva has already added Andre Gomes on a permanent basis from Barcelona this summer and he is now on the search for a new central defender and striker to enhance the club's push for European football next term.
