Arsenal boss reveals transfer plans for the next three weeks

Arsenal boss promises signings before deadline

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has revealed that the club are working hard in the transfer window and he is hopeful of pursuing around three or four players before the deadline.

The north London giants have landed the single signing of Gabriel Martinelli from Ituano this summer but they have been in discussions to pursue the likes of Kieran Tierney and Wilfried Zaha in the transfer market.

In a press conference covered by ESPN, Emery said that he already has a good team at his disposal and he is positive of bringing in three or four new faces before the start of the Premier League campaign.

"Really, I can say to our supporters that we are going to have a very good team with the players that are there now and also with three or four players who can help us in a few days," he told.

Arsenal are scheduled to face Bayern Munich in their second pre-season game of their United States tour on Thursday. Their recent encounter against Colorado Rapids saw them secure a comfortable 3-0 win.
