Everton are to complete a loan transfer move for Djibril Sidibe from AS Monaco, with the 27-year-old also having the option to make a permanent move next summer. The Goodison Park outfit have moved swiftly to snap up the right-back, who will provide useful cover for Seamus Coleman at the Toffees.

Sidibe arrived at Monaco from Lille in 2016 and has played over 80 games for the Principality side, appearing 18 times for the French national team since making his debut in 2016. He was a member of the 23 man squad that won the World Cup for France in Russia last year and will arrive as a major coup for Marco Silva's side. Prior to making a transfer to Lille, he played for French side Troyes.

The transfer move follows Jean-Philippe Gbamin arriving for £27.5m and Moise Kean for £29 million.

The 27-year-old will likely push Seamus Coleman for a first team place at his new club and the Blues will pay a reported 2 million euro fee to take Sidibe on loan for the 2019/20 season.
