Manchester United star wants showdown talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is prepared to hold showdown talks with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after playing no part during the opening phase of the campaign.
The Serbian has made 87 appearances since joining the Red Devils from Chelsea two years ago, but he is no longer regarded as a regular starter for the Mancunian giants.
Matic has found himself on the bench in the club's first three Premier League games of the season and The Mirror suggests that the midfielder has now started to question his role with the Old Trafford outfit.
The same outlet claims that the Serbian wants to hold formal talks with the head coach, who has gone with a preference for younger players since the beginning of the campaign.
Matic currently has less than a year remaining on his existing deal with the Red Devils. The club, however, have the option to prolong his stay for another 12 months.
