Dani Ceballos unlikely to stay at Arsenal

Dani Ceballos news

Arsenal unlikely to sign Ceballos permanently

Arsenal are reportedly unlikely to persuade Real Madrid into a permanent deal for midfielder Dani Ceballos at the end of the campaign.

The 23-year-old joined the Gunners on a season-long loan from Los Blancos this summer and he has already featured in the opening four league games while contributing a couple of assists.

As such, a large section of the supporters have urged the Gunners to secure a permanent transfer deal for Ceballos but that appears unlikely at the present point of time.

According to Marca, Los Blancos president Florentino Perez considers Ceballos as a key player for the future and he plans to integrate the midfielder into the first-team squad next season.

Ceballos has had a strained relationship with manager Zinedine Zidane but a strong season with the Gunners will no doubt change the Frenchman's perception of the midfielder.

Los Blancos were linked with the likes of Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen this summer but they could not push through a deal for either midfielder after failing to recoup sufficient funds from player sales.
