Real Madrid star decides to leave club in January

Isco has reportedly decided to part ways with Real Madrid in January after finding himself out-of-favour for a starting role under Zinedine Zidane this season.

The 27-year-old has endured a tough beginning to the current campaign with Los Blancos and he has made just one start in the Spanish La Liga.

With the European Championship eight months away, Isco is aware that he needs a regular run of games to make the national team squad and it seems that he wants to pursue a fresh challenge at the turn of the year.

According to Calciomercato, Isco has made his mind up to pursue a fresh challenge away from the Bernabeu giants when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Premier League side Arsenal had expressed an interest in signing Isco during the summer but Los Blancos made it clear that the Spaniard was not for sale at any price.

The Gunners went on to pursue Dani Ceballos on a season-long loan from Los Blancos instead and the midfielder has proved a quality signing for the club to date.
