Manchester United receive fresh injury boost for Liverpool clash

Martial set for United comeback vs Liverpool

Manchester United have reportedly received another injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash against Liverpool this weekend.

The Red Devils have been hampered with multiple injury concerns this term and this has coincided with their poor beginning to the league campaign.

Paul Pogba, Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are likely to be deemed fit to make their comebacks against the Reds and it appears that the club have received a further boost with the return of Anthony Martial.

Martial started the season as the main striker and he was able to find the net in the opening two league games of the season. However, he failed to contribute in the next couple of matches before sustaining a thigh concern.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has refused to mention a suitable return date for the Frenchman but he seems on course to make the matchday squad this weekend after returning to full training earlier this month.

The Red Devils have made their worst beginning to a league campaign in 30 years and they are presently 15 points adrift of the top of the standings. They are currently just two points ahead of the drop zone.
