Arsenal manager Emery weighs up Ceballos permanent deal
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has discussed the possibility of signing Dani Ceballos on a permanent basis, with the Spanish midfielder reportedly happy to stay at the Emirates beyond the period of one year loan. Emery is a huge fan of the Real Madrid midfielder, who is reportedly available for a 30 million euro transfer fee in the January transfer window.
Ceballos has been an important player for Arsenal so far this campaign, despite a stop start beginning to the club's season.
“I think it is too soon to say,” he said.
“Ceballos is doing great things here, he is playing regularly.
“Of course I know he has a lot of potential and I think this is just the start for him. We need to recognize that all players need time to adapt to the Premier League.”
The 23-year-old midfielder has been preferred by Emery in the creative hole normally filled by German star Mesut Ozil, who has been left on the sidelines after a well-publicised falling out with the club's manager.
