Pogba out injured until December

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that midfielder Paul Pogba will be sidelined with an ankle injury until the end of November.

The France international initially picked up the concern during the Premier League clash against Southampton in August but he managed to make a comeback towards the end of September.

However, his return was shortlived as he picked up a recurrence of the same injury and Solskjaer has now revealed that he won't be available until the beginning of December.

"I don’t think we’ll see him maybe before December. He’ll be out for a while. He needs time to fully, fully recover. I’m not the doctor but there is an injury that needs healing. Ankle rather than foot," he told Sky Sports.

Aside from Pogba, Nemanja Matic is also on the sidelined with an unknown injury and this has left the club with just two senior central midfielders in the form of Scott McTominay and Fred.

Still, Solskjaer has said that he may consider playing three in the midfield with Andreas Pereira, James Garner and Jesse Lingard regarded as his alternative choices.
