Manchester United are reportedly set to make a double signing from the Bundesliga. According to reports, Ed Woodward has approved moves for starlet Kai Havertz and the Bayern Munich wantaway Thomas Muller for a combined fee of £125m. Havertz is on the wishlist of every top club in Europe and the Leverkusen youngster has the potential to become one of the best attacking-midfielders in the world.

Muller, on the other hand, has been a target for United in the past but the 30-year-old finds himself frozen out of the Bayern Munich side. His performances have also significantly dropped over the past few seasons. Nevertheless, he is a good player and according to reports, United are keen on acquiring an experienced campaigner like Muller.

Manchester United scouts were apparently watching Havertz at Leverkusen's last game and could make a move for the German in the summer while Muller can be a cheap option to bolster a thin attack.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also reiterated his faith in Anthony Martial to lead United's attack. The Frenchman has struggled for form and with injuries but Solskjaer has dismissed signing Harry Kane but rather places his faith in Martial to lead the attack. United need both Martial and Rashford to step up if they are to improve.
