Chelsea receive big injury boost ahead of Crystal Palace clash
Chelsea have received a significant injury boost ahead of the weekend's Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.
Mason Mount has been a regular figure in the starting lineup for the Blues this term but he happened to suffer an injury scare against Ajax in midweek after rolling his right ankle.
It was initially predicted that he could miss the forthcoming London derby against the Eagles but he has now returned to training and could feature in the Blues' final game before the international break.
Mount has been almost ever-present for the west London giants in the Premier League this season and he has impressed during this period with four goals and an assist.
He had a forgettable game against Ajax prior to his injury substitution and it remains to be seen whether Lampard will pick him from the starting lineup for the Eagles clash on Saturday.
Chelsea are presently fourth in the league standings with 23 points on the board. They are currently eight points adrift of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool at the top of the table.
