Arsenal star keen on Barcelona transfer?
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly reluctant to pen a new contract with the Gunners amid the speculated interest from Barcelona.
The 30-year-old has amassed 50 goals since joining the Gunners from Borussia Dortmund last year but his long-term future with the club remains a concern with his contract expiring in 19 months' time.
According to Sport, Aubameyang is not in a hurry to pen a new contract with the north London giants and he is assessing whether the Blaugrana are interested in his services.
The Gunners have failed to qualify for the Champions League in each of the previous three seasons and a similar return during the current campaign may urge Aubameyang to consider a fresh challenge.
Barcelona have been linked with Aubameyang on multiple occasions this year and reports indicate that the Gunners may seriously consider the Gabonese's sale, should his contract standoff extend beyond the summer.
Aubameyang has netted eight goals for the north London giants in the Premier League this term. He recently became the sixth fastest Arsenal player to contribute 50 goals in the club's history.
