Arsenal want Brazilian wonderkid to replace Aubameyang?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang news

Arsenal eye Auba replacement

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to part ways with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang next summer and they could replace him with a young forward from Brazil.

The Gabon international has just 20 months remaining on his existing deal with the Gunners and so far, he has shown no indication of penning an extension with the club.

As a result, there are suggestions that the Gunners could be forced to sanction his sale next summer but it appears that they won't necessarily pursue an experienced replacement.

According to The Sun, the north London giants are keeping a close eye on Flamengo youngster Reinier Jesus ahead of a potential deal during next summer's transfer window.

The 17-year-old has netted four times from 12 appearances for the Brazilian league leaders this season and it is claimed that they could make an early enquiry for his services to ward off interest from other elite European sides.

Aubameyang is currently the subject of interest from Barcelona, who are said to be eyeing a competitor to Luis Suarez. Suarez has been hampered with multiple niggles this term.
