Chelsea to spend £150m on January signings?
Chelsea will reportedly hand Frank Lampard with a £150m kitty when the transfer window reopens at the beginning of the year.
The Blues had their transfer ban reduced by six months following a successful appeal and they are now permitted to make new signings next month.
Lampard has repeatedly stated that he is happy with the present state of the squad but The Telegraph claims that the hierarchy will back the 41-year-old with funds for the January transfer window.
The same outlet claims that the club are prepared to offer Lampard with around £150m to spend on their transfer targets which include the likes of Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner.
Meanwhile, the Blues are expected to part ways with Pedro and Olivier Giroud at the turn of the year and the former has already been linked with a number of clubs in the Serie A.
Chelsea are presently fourth in the standings with 29 points on the board. They hold a six-point advantage over Wolves in the race for the final Champions League spot.
