Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly looking into a summer deal for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, who is also on the radar of Chelsea.

The Portuguese tactician has transformed the fortunes of the north London side with four wins from his first five matches in charge but they have looked vulnerable at the back, having conceded eight goals.

Elsewhere, there is also uncertainty regarding the futures of Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen whose contracts expire next summer and it appears that the club may seek to reinforce the backline.

According to El Desmarque, Spurs boss Mourinho has already earmarked his defensive options for next summer's transfer window and Koulibaly is one of the top names on his radar.

Koulibaly has been valued at £100m in the past but recent reports have stated that he could be available for around £69m next summer with Napoli unimpressed with his involvement in a dressing room revolt earlier this term.
