Erling Haaland wants to join Manchester United?
Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland has reportedly given the go-ahead for Manchester United to land his signature at the turn of the year.
The Norwegian has been in stellar form for Salzburg this term and he has amassed 28 goals for the Austrian giants in just 23 games in all competitions.
This has resulted in widespread interest in his services and multiple reports have indicated that United are among the favourites to sign him when the transfer window reopens.
According to The Mirror, the teenager is keen on a reunion with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford despite visiting the training grounds of RB Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund this month.
Solskjaer had managed Haaland during their time together at Molde and it appears that the Red Devils boss wants to strengthen the attack further despite the presence of the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
Mason Greenwood has recently been the difference maker upfront with three goals and an assist from the past two games and it remains to be seen whether the teenager's emergence has any impact on the club's interest in Haaland.
