Real Madrid plot €100m move for Ligue 1 prospect
According to Daily Mail, Real Madrid are interested in Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, who has been affixed a price tag worth €100m by the Ligue 1 club.
Real Madrid are reportedly eyeing a move for highly-rated French prospect Eduardo Camavinga.
Los Blancos were also said to have made initial contacts with the French outfit regarding the transfer of Camavinga.
The 17-year-old central midfielder is also being tracked by Manchester United and Madrid's arch-rivals Barcelona.
Camavinga has been influential for Rennes this season, putting up some impressive displays against PSG and Lyon. He also earned his maiden call-up for France's U-21 side last month.
The French prospect is also one of the key reasons behind Rennes' successful run this season, which has now placed them at fourth in the Ligue 1 table.
Zinedine Zidane is planning for midfield reinforcements as names like Paul Pogba and Christian Eriksen are already on Madrid’s wishlist.
They are currently trailing Barca in the second place in the La Liga table on goal difference. The teams will meet in the El Clasico this weekend.
