Spanish giants Real Madrid have indicated that they are unlikely to make an approach to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United when the transfer window reopens next month.

Paul Pogba has not played a single minute for the Red Devils since his ankle fracture in late September but he has recently returned to first-team training with the club.

Still, there has been continuous speculation regarding his future amid the speculated interest from Los Blancos but Marca states that the Bernabeu giants won't make an offer at the beginning of the year.

Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane is said to be impressed with the development of club graduate Federico Valverde and he is prepared to monitor his progress before deciding on a possible midfield signing next summer.

The 21-year-old recently impressed in the 0-0 draw against Barcelona in the Spanish La Liga. He has made 13 league appearances for Los Blancos this term with nine of those coming from the starting lineup.
