Swiss goalkeeper wanted by Man Utd?

Man Utd have been linked with a surprise January transfer window move for Lyon player Anthony Racioppi. The talented Swiss goalkeeper, who is seen as a potential rival with David De Gea for a place in the Old Trafford side's first-team, is valued by his club for a fee of around 15 million euros.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper is considered one of Europe's best young prospects and has already appeared in Lyon's first-team on a regular basis. The Swiss starlet, who has come through the ranks in Lyonnais, is being considered by Man Utd manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a long-term replacement for David De Gea.

The Spanish keeper has been constantly linked with a move away from Old Trafford and it is understood that Barcelona will eventually make a move for De Gea next summer in a mega money deal worth more than 80 million euros. United are ready to part company with De Gea if they can secure a keeper with the talents of Racioppi, as glowing scouting reports have been sent back to Man Utd's coaching team.
