Manchester United quoted staggering price tag for Raul Jimenez
Wolverhampton Wanderers have indicated that they have no plans of selling Raul Jimenez to Manchester United this month unless the Red Devils come up with a club-record £100m bid.
The Mexico international joined Wolves on a season-long loan from Benfica last term and he made a strong impression with 17 goals in all competitions for the club.
As a result, he was signed permanently over the summer and the 28-year-old has continued to excel this season with 17 goals with half of the campaign remaining.
According to The Sun, Wolves are aware of the apparent interest from the Red Devils but they are reluctant to part ways with their prized asset before the end of the month.
However, the club's hierarchy are willing to sanction his sale, should the Mancunian giants come up with a significant package of around £100m for the Mexican ace.
Aside from Jimenez, United have also been credited with an interest in his teammate Ruben Neves. The Portuguese is said to be valued in excess of £80m.
