Shkodran Mustafi set for Arsenal exit?
Arsenal could reportedly sanction the sale of Shkodran Mustafi this month, given the German has fallen out-of-favour this season.
The Gunners have been coached by three different managers this term but Mustafi has still struggled for playing time in the league, where he has made just three appearances.
According to The Mirror, the defender's new team of representatives are pushing for discussions with the Gunners board regarding a possible departure this month.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has recently acknowledged that the club may spend after the long-term knee injury for Calum Chambers and he will need to decide whether to keep or offload Mustafi.
Arsenal have been linked with the likes of Dayot Upamecano, Daniele Rugani and Jerome Boateng this month but reports have claimed that Arteta will have to accumulate funds from player sales.
The north London side spent nearly £140m on six players during the summer but the hierarchy are quite clear that they won't be backing Arteta with additional fees without possible player exits.
