According to Sky Sports, Barcelona have identified RB Leipzig right-back, Lukas Klostermann, as the replacement for exit-linked Nelson Semedo.

The German full-back, who is also on the transfer wishlist of Bayern Munich, made his international debut last year, earning eight caps thus far.

Klostermann is having another great season with the Eagles, bagging a goal and an assist in 16 outings in Bundesliga. The 23-year-old was also instrumental behind Leipzig's top-four finish in the league last season.

Meanwhile, the Catalans are open to selling Semedo, who hasn’t lived up to the expectations since joining them in 2015.  The Portuguese full-back has also fallen down the pecking order of Ernesto Valverde, who prefers Sergi Roberto as the starter.

Blaugrana have sorted out their summer transfer plans, and the priority turns out to be signing a right-back.

Valverde's men are currently topping the La Liga table despite the 2-2 draw against their local rivals Espanyol. They will face Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of Spanish Super Cup on Thursday.
