Liverpool keeping tabs on Norwich City youngster
According to Liverpool Echo, Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell, who is also said to be on the transfer radar of Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham.
The 21-year-old is one of the exciting talents in Premier League at the moment, having scored against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City in this season.
The England U-21 star has bagged a total of 6 goals and 2 assists in 21 outings this season for the Canaries, who are currently in the relegation zone.
Cantwell can act as a traditional No.10 as well as a central or wide midfielder.
The Reds are also in talks with their midfielder Gini Wijnaldum regarding a contract extension, whilst they have also signed Takumi Minamino from Salzburg. The Japanese prospect made his debut in the FA Cup win against Everton.
The Merseyside club already boast a sturdy line-up in the midfield, and now they are looking to add Cantwell to the squad.
The Reds are looking robust in Premier League this season, as they are yet to face a defeat in the league.
Jurgen Klopp’s men are well clear of Leicester City in the League table and will face Spurs this Saturday.
