Chelsea ready to sell Michy Batshuayi?
Chelsea are reportedly prepared to part ways with Michy Batshuayi this month, provided any club is willing to meet their £45m for the Belgium international.
The 26-year-old has acted as the back-up striker behind Tammy Abraham for most of the current campaign but he has failed to make an appearance in each of the past four top-flight matches.
According to The Sun, the Blues are reluctant to accept another temporary exit for Batshuayi and they will only sanction the player's departure on a permanent deal this month.
The same outlet claims that the west London giants have placed a £45m price tag on the striker's head and will reject any offers which are below their valuation of the Belgian.
Batshuayi has largely misfired in front of goal over the past few months and he has netted just five times since the beginning of the season. His last goal came back in September after which he has been pretty average with his displays.
Chelsea are also looking to offload Olivier Giroud in the current transfer window. The potential sale of both strikers will certainly urge the board to sign a new centre-forward to provide competition to Abraham upfront.
