Chelsea make final transfer decision on Callum Wilson
Chelsea have reportedly ended their interest in signing Callum Wilson from Bournemouth, given his performances have dropped over the course of the current season.
The 27-year-old earned recognition with the England national side owing to his performances last term but he has not been able to replicate the same this campaign.
He has netted just five goals during the current top-flight campaign and he has gone on a run of 14 league matches where he has been unable to find the net for the Cherries.
As a result, the Blues seem to have ended their prolonged interest in his services and Sky Sports News claims that they won't be lodging any transfer approach this month.
Meanwhile, it is also reported that the club won't exercise the buy-back clause present in the contract of Cherries defender Nathan Ake and they are prepared to look elsewhere in the search for reinforcements.
Chelsea are scheduled to face Newcastle United on the road in the Premier League this weekend. They are currently fourth in the standings with 39 points on the board.
