Timo Werner makes transfer decision
Germany international Timo Werner is reportedly said to favour a move to Liverpool over Chelsea.
The German has amassed 25 goals for Leipzig in all competitions this term and this has attracted interest from some of Europe's elite teams.
Among them, Liverpool and Chelsea have been constantly linked with the forward and Bild claims that Werner is keen to link up with Jurgen Klopp at Anfield.
Both clubs are prepared to meet the £60m asking price set by Leipzig but the Reds are willing to agree on a summer transfer agreement, given they are comfortable with the options at hand.
In comparison, the Blues needs an instant purchase with barely any competition for Tammy Abraham, who has struggled to score regularly over the past few months.
Michy Batshuayi has been the back-up to Abraham off the bench for most of the season but he has been poor with his displays and has failed to score any goal since the European clash against Lille in September.
