According to Goal.com, Juventus are ready to sanction the sale of midfielder Emre Can, who turns out to be gaining interest from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

The German has become a bench warmer under Maurizio Sarri, who has always preferred the likes of Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi, Rodrigo Bentancur and Adrien Rabiot.

The ex-Liverpool star has made only eight appearances this season in the Serie A while being left out by the Italian gaffer for all the games in the UCL group stage.

Can is understood to be fearful over the lack of game time in Italy with Euro 2020 on the horizon.

Dortmund have expressed their interest in signing the 26-year-old, who the Bianconeri rate around £25m. Lucian Favre's side also appear to require midfield reinforcements following the departure of Julian Weigl to Benfica.

Can has also been subject to transfer interest of the clubs like Manchester United, Tottenham in recent times.

Juve are currently the frontrunners for Scudetto, four points clear of Inter Milan.
