Chelsea star ready to discuss terms with Tottenham Hotspur
Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is reportedly prepared to hold discussions with London rivals Tottenham Hotspur regarding a permanent transfer before the end of the month.
The Frenchman has grown frustrated with the lack of gametime with the west London giants and he is said to be desperate for a fresh challenge before the transfer deadline approaches.
According to Sky Italy, Giroud is unwilling to wait for an approach from the Nerazzurri, considering they are only prepared to sign him when his contract expires in the summer.
Hence, the former Arsenal man seems open to the prospect of joining cross-town rivals Tottenham and it is now upto the north London side to negotiate a fee with the Blues.
Chelsea have previously sanctioned the sale of David Luiz to Arsenal under manager Frank Lampard and they may be open to selling Giroud to another London rival, given he is completely out-of-favour and could leave the club on a free in five months' time.
