Juventus want to agree deal for Chelsea defender
Juventus have reportedly identified Chelsea defender Emerson Palmieri as a possible option to bolster their defence during the summer transfer window.
The Italian has been constantly linked with an exit from the Blues and he may be shown the exit door in the summer with the club expected to sign a new left-back.
According to Calciomercato, Bianconeri boss Maurizio Sarri is keen on a reunion with the left-sided defender, who has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this season.
Palmieri will have two years remaining on his contract during the summer and the Blues will still be in a strong position to negotiate their own price with the Serie A holders.
Emerson has made 16 appearances for the Blues this term but of late, he has been a regular substitute with manager Frank Lampard preferring to play Cesar Azpilicueta on the left side of the defence.
Alongside Emerson, left-back Marcos Alonso has suffered a similar fate during the course of the current campaign and he has been fancied to head to the Serie A with Inter Milan interested.
