Tottenham Hotspur want Dayot Upamecano?
Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho is understood to have monitored the performance of Dayot Upamecano during Leipzig's recent league clash against Bayern Munich.
The Portuguese recently watched the 0-0 draw between Leipzig and Bayern in the stands at the Allianz Arena and it was suggested that he was tracking the German side ahead of the Champions League round of 16 clash.
However, according to The Mirror, it is claimed that the former Chelsea man also kept an eye on the performance of Upamecano, who has a £50m release clause in his current contract.
Belgian centre-back Toby Alderweireld has already penned a new deal with Spurs but the club are braced to lose the services of Jan Vertonghen when his contract expires in the summer.
Upamecano will be in action for Leipzig when they face Spurs in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 clash at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium on February 19.
He is also said to be attracting interest from Arsenal.
