Chelsea to swoop for Uruguayan midfielder this summer?
Chelsea are reportedly planning a summer move for Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino, who is keen on a fresh challenge away from the Serie A.
The Uruguay international was linked with the likes of Manchester United and Everton at the turn of the year but ultimately decided to stay put with the Nerazzurri.
However, according to Calciomercato, the 28-year-old is likely to seek a departure from the Nerazzurri in the summer and the Blues are among the front-runners to land his services.
The midfielder was linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge when Maurizio Sarri was at the helm and reports claim that he could be available for just £21m when the transfer window reopens.
Chelsea have already bolstered their squad for next season with the signing of Hakim Ziyech and reports claim that they could land another three players during the off-season.
Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Lyon's Moussa Dembele are among the high-profile names, who have been linked with possible summer moves to the west London side.
