David Alaba open to Premier League move?
Bayern Munich defender David Alaba has refused to rule out a possible move to the Premier League amid the speculated interest from Chelsea.
The Austria international has been with Bayern for the whole of his career but he has been linked with a potential switch elsewhere in the summer.
The Blues are said to be among the long-term admirers of the versatile defender and Alaba has now hinted that he may be open to a move to England.
"We'll see [what happens in the future]. I know the Premier League very well because I followed it a lot when I was younger. At the moment I don't think too much about it, but I can imagine playing somewhere else," he told The Times.
Frank Lampard's side are expected to find a new left-back during the summer transfer window with both Emerson and Marcos Alonso expected to leave the club.
Cesar Azpilicueta has done a credible job from the position but Lampard is said to be eyeing a new defender, who can provide a regular attacking threat in the opposition half and remain solid at the back.
Ben Chilwell from Leicester City has been earmarked as the prime target through the media for a while but it remains to be seen whether the Blues will consider a new left-back from overseas.
