Liverpool clear on Roberto Firmino's future

Roberto Firmino news

Liverpool won't sell Firmino this summer

Liverpool have no intention of parting ways with Roberto Firmino amid the speculated interest from German champions Bayern Munich.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed another productive season for the Reds and he has already contributed 10 goals and 12 assists from 37 appearances.

Of late, it has been reported that Firmino may possibly move to Bayern with the Reds looking into a deal for Timo Werner, but The Athletic claims that the club have no plans of selling the forward.

Firmino has bagged 76 goals and 59 assists from 229 appearances for the Merseyside giants whom he joined from Hoffenheim during the summer of 2016.

The Reds have been tipped to sign a new versatile forward during the off-season and reports indicate that they are in advanced talks to sign Werner from Leipzig.

Whoever joins the club may not be assured with regular gametime next season until the turn of the year where the Reds will be without Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane for a few weeks due to African Cup of Nations duty.
