Chelsea are reportedly prepared to part ways with defender Marcos Alonso, should any club meet their £25m asking price in the summer.

The Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge this term and he is currently one of the back-up options to Cesar Azpilicueta for the left-back spot.

According to Calciomercato, the west London outfit plan to reinforce their options on the left side of the defence and they are likely to sanction the exit of Alonso when the transfer window reopens.

Inter Milan are said to be one of the keen admirers of the former Fiorentina man but they will have to meet the Blues' £25m price tag for the versatile defender.

Alonso has previously worked under Nerazzurri boss Antonio Conte at Chelsea and he found much of his early success operating in the left wing-back role.

Inter have pursued several Premier League players over the past eight months and that has included Victor Moses, who was signed on loan from Chelsea last month.
