Liverpool enter the race to sign Jude Bellingham
Liverpool have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign highly-rated Birmingham City midfielder Jude Bellingham in the summer.
The 16-year-old has been on the radar of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in recent months and reports have emerged that they could seal an agreement worth £30m for his services this summer.
However, according to The Star, it appears that they could face strong competition from their arch-rivals Liverpool, whose manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on adding more young prospects into the squad.
The Merseyside outfit pursued the likes of Sepp van den Burg and Harvey Elliott during last summer's transfer window and Bellingham now seems as the next young target on their radar.
Bellingham, who has played across the midfield and attack for Birmingham, has already made 33 Championship appearances in his breakthrough campaign this term, contributing four goals and three assists.
Apart from the Premier League duo, Arsenal, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping tabs on the youngster, who has yet to sign a professional contract.
