Barcelona to offer €70m plus players for Serie A striker?
Barcelona have reportedly offered €70m for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez while also willing to include two players in the deal.
Martinez remains a top priority for the Catalans and reportedly have the deadline between the 1st and 15th of June to exercise his €111m release clause.
According to Sport, Barca are trying to sign the Argentine striker in a player plus cash deal – which is also considered as a safety measure against FFP.
It is also added that Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo could be the possible victims in the exchange.
Martinez, 22, has been impressive in front of the goals this season, finding the net 16 times in all competitions while having excelled in the UEFA Champions League group stage games; 5 goals in 6 games including the one at the Camp Nou.
Luis Suarez, the player who Martinez has been tipped to succeed him at Barca, has welcomed the opportunity of signing the Argentine in the summer.
Even Lionel Messi has heaped praise on his compatriot as he finds Suarez and Martinez's style of play quite akin.
Real Madrid are also said to be keeping tabs on the former Racing star while Manchester City have likewise expressed their interest.
