Arsenal set their sights on signing Portuguese midfielder?
Arsenal could reportedly make a formal approach to sign Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers when the transfer window reopens in a few months' time.
Neves has been a consistent performer for the west Midlands outfit at the heart of the midfield and his displays have previously attracted interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
According to The Daily Mail, the Gunners have their sights on strengthening the midfield department for next term and Neves has been identified as the prime transfer target.
Neves has been with Wolves since the 2017/2018 season where they were in the Championship and over the two-and-a-half years, he has contributed 15 goals from 125 appearances.
His current deal with Wolves only expires in the summer of 2023 and reports claim that Nuno's side won't sanction his sale unless they receive an offer in excess of £100m.
Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta's side are also keeping a close eye on Neves' compatriot Diogo Jota, who has been in sublime form in recent weeks. The Portuguese has bagged six goals and an assist from the previous five games.
