Inter Milan to swoop for Chelsea star this summer
Inter Milan are prepared to discuss terms with Olivier Giroud whose contract with Chelsea expires at the end of the current campaign.
The Frenchman looked on course to leave the Blues in January but he was declined the chance on deadline day after the club failed to sign a replacement.
Since then, Giroud has returned to the starting fold with the injury to Tammy Abraham and he has impressed with two goals from past six appearances in all competitions.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Conte's side remain interested in signing the marksman and they are prepared to open discussions over a pre-contract agreement.
Apart from Giroud, the Nerazzurri are also plotting a big-money move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal as they face the possibility of losing Lautaro Martinez this summer.
Martinez has been the subject of interest from Barcelona and reports have emerged that the Catalan giants could be prepared to trigger the £101m release clause on his contract.
