Arsenal interested in signing Real Madrid forward?
Arsenal could reportedly swoop for the services of Luka Jovic from Real Madrid when the transfer window reopens.
The 22-year-old made the move to Los Blancos from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer after contributing 36 goals from 75 games for the German side.
However, he has failed to replicate the performances at the Bernabeu and has managed just two goals from 24 matches across all competitions.
According to The Star, Los Blancos are open to parting ways with Jovic in the summer and the Gunners are one of the clubs, who are keen on his signature.
The same outlet claims the north London giants will attempt to sign him on an initial loan with manager Mikel Arteta keen on finding a different option to Alexandre Lacazette upfront.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future with the Gunners remains uncertain with his contract expiring at the end of next season and Jovic could possibly act as a replacement for the club-captain.
Aubameyang has been linked with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid in recent weeks. The Gunners could demand around £50m for his sale, suppose he declines to sign a renewal.
