Dayot Upamecano on Real Madrid radar
Real Madrid could reportedly compete with the likes of Arsenal and Barcelona in the race to sign RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano.
The 21-year-old will enter the final year of his Leipzig contract this summer and reports claim that the German side could be prepared to sanction his sale for his reported release clause of £55m.
According to AS, Los Blancos have joined the pursuit of the Frenchman's services amid the uncertainty surrounding the future of skipper Sergio Ramos while Eder Militao could also head through the exit door.
As such, the club are eyeing at least one player to bolster the central defensive department and Upamecano has caught their eye on the back of his performances for Leipzig over the past year.
Los Blancos are planning a possible spending spree this summer. Prior to that, they are likely to sanction the sale of some of the out-of-favour players and that may include Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez and Lucas Vazquez.
