Arsenal interested in Real Madrid centre-back
Arsenal are reportedly said to be considering a move for Real Madrid defender Eder Militao as they seek to strengthen their central defence for next season.
The 22-year-old signed for the Madrid giants from Porto last summer but he has since struggled for regular gametime and has made only 13 appearances in all competitions.
Los Blancos have reportedly assured him that he won't be offloaded at the end of the campaign but manager Zinedine Zidane does not seem to share the same opinion on the Brazilian.
According to AS, the Gunners are keeping a close eye on the player's situation at the Bernabeu and they could make the proposal to land him on loan with the option for a future purchase.
William Saliba is expected to formally join the Gunners squad this summer after the loan stint with Saint-Etienne and he has been fancied to take up one of the starting positions in the central defence.
Still, the club have been fancied to sign at least one more centre-back with the likes of Shkodran Mustafi and Sokratis likely to be shown the exit door in the coming months.
